As an artist whose practice spans painting and sculpture, I rely solely on my imagination and memories, thus, my work reflects my inner world. However, I've always felt an urge to capture the world around me as it is. This is how I came to photography.
I’ve been a birdwatcher for many years, so at first a camera made a perfect companion for someone like me, and my main subject remained the same -- birds. Over time, the habit of looking at things closely grew into a passion for capturing bits of reality in all their fleeting beauty, whether animals, flowers, or a random scene amid the city bustle.
I’m never without a retro camera, shooting on 35mm and 120 formats.
